The Canadian Emergency Response Contractors’ Alliance (CERCA) is an industry association comprised of stakeholders from all facets of the Canadian dangerous goods emergency response industry. The mission of CERCA is to foster the establishment of a sound emergency response network in Canada.

The Task Force was comprised of members from: Chemistry Industry Association of Canada – CIAC, Transport Canada, railway carriers such as Canadian Pacific Railway and Canadian National Railway, as well as many emergency response contractors across Canada. Other organizations that joined the Task Force include: Canadian Fertilizer Institute, Canadian Trucking Alliance, Responsible Distribution Canada, and the Railway Association of Canada.
